Transact is designed from the ground up with both massive scale and global reach as a core design requirement. \
The solution features:
- Multiple SBCs (no SPOF) in each region
- Resources to support 100% of the throughput in a single region
- Auto scaling and/or at the click of a button within a region
- Incredibly efficient SIP Proxy service, only adding circa 3ms
- Redundant Azure services comprising of the public API, message processors, and PSP proxy services
- Native Azure services for Cache, Service Bus messages, real time capture state updates and logging

Security and Compliance
To be PCI-DSS compliant, Transact must tightly control and protect any environment that stores, processes, or transmits cardholder data by minimising scope, segmenting the cardholder data environment from other systems, encrypting card data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest where applicable, enforcing strong access controls (unique IDs, least privilege, MFA for admin/remote access, secure secrets management), maintaining secure configurations and timely patching, continuously logging and monitoring security events with alerting and incident response procedures, and running regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests with documented policies, change control, and staff training to provide evidence that controls are operating effectively.
