Focus Compliance Recorder app for Teams
The Focus Compliance Recorder app brings Focus into Microsoft Teams. Your people can see when a call or meeting is being recorded, take sensitive moments off the record when your policy allows, and find their recent recordings, all without leaving Teams.
Recording itself doesn't depend on the app. Focus records every call and meeting your recording policy covers, whether or not anyone opens it. The app gives your users visibility and, where you allow it, control.
Why use itβ
- Recording status where the conversation happens. Users see whether a meeting is recording, paused or stopped, and how much has been recorded, in a panel right next to the meeting.
- Control that stays within your policy. Users can pause, resume or stop recording only if their policy allows it. Where recording is compulsory, the app shows status and nothing more.
- Every change is recorded. Each pause and resume is logged with its time, so you can always see which parts of a call were captured and which weren't.
- Recent recordings close to hand. Users can check their recordings from the last 24 hours or a chosen date range, and open the full Focus portal in one click.
- Teams-only access when that's all someone needs. The Recording control user role gives people control of their own recordings in Teams, without access to the Focus portal or stored recordings. See permissions.
